This supermarket has everything that I want to cook or put in a fridge.I have no issues with what I buy because they have what I want.

My philosophy is I can't deny how I feel.I am an early bird.I get things done.The one thing that I have an issue with is how they open up a supermarket.If the supermarket says it opens at "7 o clock", it should open up on time.It should not open "7:10" like it did this morning.I am that type of person who doesn't like tardiness.I was waiting outside the supermarket .There was a lady who got off the bus.Me and her wanted to go inside of the supermarket.She said that this happens all the time which I agree.There is a lady who I will not call out by name would always open the supermarket late like around after 7.I don't hate her.I want her to do better and stop being tardy all the time.I am not an everyday customer.I am not a long time customer.I am a loyal customer.I am not asking for a million dollars.I just want the supermarket to open ON TIME so that I can shop for groceries for me and my mother.It should not open on specific times like "7: 05, 7:08,7:10,7:15" etc like it has in the past

There was a guy who used to open the supermarket on time.In the past,he would let me in a few minutes before 7 since he knows me very well.I don't know what happened to him.

Ideal Supermarket has a great selection of items to choose from. The shelves are stacked very well and the store is very clean. The cashiers are very friendly. The only issue I have is the meat. Don't sell meat that passed it's expiration date. Otherwise it's always a pleasure to shop at this establishment.

This place is on corner of Gates/Throop Aves
They have some bad meat in the meat department and when you go back there and look for the person handling meat, you can’t find them.the manager is young and from another country and answer quickly without thought, probably not educated about these matters.somebody’s gonna get sick from that bad meet. I put in a report about it. (Agriculture dept)

The one on Lafayette Ave is cleaner, organized and has better customer service. I attempted to leave without buying anything because they did not have what I wanted (or because it was so disorganized, I couldn’t find it - price tags all over the place for the wrong item) and the Latino security tried to lock me in while looking me up and down to assess whether I stole something. Thankfully I dressed professionally so they eventually let me leave after some time but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Hooligan behavior. I rarely play that card but I wonder if it was a race thing. The audacity of it all. Nonetheless, I will never come back here to spend my hard earned money. I can’t wait until they close.

with the exception of a couple employees the staff is rude/cold/unfriendly to the point of sociopathic. It's been like this for years. To need to ask for basic level of respectful engagement between humans, eye contact, not just straight up being ignored, like i'm interrupting your conversation with other employees is shameful. I'll walk an extra 5-10 blocks to other grocery stores because the vibe here is straight up toxic and brings people down and is bad for the community that relies on this location to feed their families. On top of that the countless times I bought spoiled food from here and bad smells around the meat, like an episode of the twilight zone. I wish they'd check themselves and get their act together and level up the energy because this kind of thing matters.

The items are listed on sAle in the flyer and in the aisle yet ring up at the register for the normal price . Then they argue you down about it being correct until you show them the flyer then they call Miguel or the dyke manager to fix the price . Shopping here sucks but it's the only one in the neighborhood hopefully they get bought out by more sensible and honest ppl.
