This is a very nice restaurant with a very friendly staff. The food is pretty good as well. The only food that I had that I didn’t like was the mashed potatoes. They were instant and they were not mixed well. My favorite was the toss salad with extra tomato, pepper steak with yellow rice, and the sweet potato pie. We had a very nice server as well. I believe it’s an a la cart restaurant. Our meal was $45 for 2 people. I will definitely visit this restaurant again. There is also a decent amount of parking at this restaurant.

Had the best experience and service today. Had the best Server ever. He went above and beyond. Great manners, friendly. Please don't let him go. We need more Servers like him.

The food is very much the sort of thing you expect at a cafeteria but it is very well made and quite tasty. For the price, I would say it's an excellent value. The staff is very friendly and attentive; absolutely cannot fault them there. If you get there at a busy time, you may have a long wait in line and of course you do have to go through the line to get your food, just like in any cafeteria. But once you've gotten through that line, they'll treat you like a king. The dining area and restrooms are very clean. The decor is nothing fancy but it is a very comfortable and relaxed place have a good homestyle meal

A good old fashioned southern experience! Took me back to my childhood. A couple of the dishes were under salted, but overall I was tickled.
NOT ALLERGEN FRIENDLY, though.

Have eaten here for many years and love the food , but at least over the past 6 months (maybe a little longer) many of the dishes have been extremely over salted. I.e. squash, TURNIPS, broccoli or eggplant casseroles to name a few. I once just had to trow out the squash casserole (which I normally love) Even chopped country steak was very salty. Basically everything is over salted. If I had not enjoyed it for so many years I wouldn't be complaining. Whoever is doing the seasoning now is way too intense. Can someone please tone them back down with the SALT!!! Seeing as most of the
customers are seniors and need to watch their Sodium level (salt), I would hope the restaurant would want to correct this. Please let me know if you get this problem resolved. I would appreciate the feedback.

Absolutely the worst place ever. (1) star is too much! Where is the (0) star selection. Time and time again we order one thing and get another. This time we get a note on the receipt they didn’t have what we ordered. Really? You call S&S and they want to blame it on Door Dash. Door Dash just picks it up. Nice try S&S. I’m done with your lack of competence!

Food was not hot and presentation was not as satisfying either. BBQ chicken was OK, not delicious. You can tell the changes from over the years... and it does not compare. I would not be as likely to done again. The dining area looks dreary... felt like I was in a senior facility and not because of its customers. They could stand to liven up the place with fresh paint, pictures and staging/ decor.

Fried chicken tasted like it was cooked in rancid/old oil. Macaroni had shredded cheese on top that was very hard. Cracklin bread was greasy&hard. Please have servers check quality of food at takeout shop.
