Their location in the underground parking level is unfortunate. There's an odor on that parking level that I noticed immediately. It went away once inside the store but I couldn't help but think how all that air was probably being circulated. Packaged foods are fine but I wouldn't feel comfortable buying fresh seafood or meats here. The store itself is fine and not very crowded.

I want to support this Gelson’s in whatever way I can. Parking is never a problem. The meat and fish and cheese counter are very high quality. The produce is too high priced for me but there are many items at Gelson’s that are lower priced here. You might have to be a very discerning shopper to notice but there are many ways this has always been a special store and it still is. The staff working there are better than any other store I know of. This is a great store for special items, hard to find items and great across the board quality, even if a bit more in cost in certain areas. A class act.

Nice market. I love the setup inside they have a lot of stuff to sell. My favorite areas were the liquor and cheese sections plus employees are so nice... My only gripe was trying to find the market at 7 pm because it was down a flight of stairs that were dark. Very poor lighting, there doing some work in the front of the door so I was not sure if I was going to the correct place.

Such a disappointment when you are used to stores with a much bigger selection of organic / gluten free and local items. The staff is really nice and deserves five stars, but for selection I won't be back.

Needed flowers last minute and came to MdR Gelsons floral dept. I was amazed by the patience and expertise from Lori- she was an angel! She had the perfect recommendation for me, and I was incredibly pleased. Honestly, I was surprised with the quality from a market florist. Would highly recommend stopping by and asking for Lori- she has you covered!

Located in the lower level of the shopping center, Gelson's has extremely overpriced produce. The prices are double of Costco and significantly higher than Trader Joe's. While the produce can seem more unblemished than other grocery stores, that's actually a con and not a pro. Perfect looking produce is typically less nutritious than their counterparts that have endured more natural hardships

Gelson's has always been a very nice grocery store. I especially like it because I manage to find GF pasta there that is not available in the major grocery stores. Most of the items are very good quality. The reason that I did not give them 5 stars is because the staff seem to have their noses up their a...s. Stuffy and pretentious.
